ORTHODONTICS
TRADITIONAL ORTHODONTICS
Traditional orthodontics allows teeth to be aligned using attachment systems (brackets) placed on each tooth.
There are now aesthetic solutions with white or transparent all-ceramic brackets.
FUNCTIONAL ORTHODONTICS
In young, developing patients with functional orthodontics, it is possible to modify growth in order to correct certain irregularities in the jaws and dental alignment which, if diagnosed in adulthood, will require more complex orthodontic treatment or possibly orthodontics combined with surgery for ideal correction.
ORTHODONTICS INTERCEPTIVE
Interceptive orthodontics focuses on the following elements: tooth eruption, chewing, breathing, occlusion, swallowing and bad habits (thumb sucking).
In young patients, and in some cases, it is possible to achieve positive change in these areas through simple, specific, and precise treatments. This will allow minor problems to be eliminated before they become more difficult to treat at a later age.
INVISIBLE ORTHODONTICS - LINGUAL
Lingual orthodontics aims to place the brackets on the inside of the teeth, making them invisible when smiling.
These orthodontic appliances are custom-made and specific to each patient.
ALIGNMENT GUTTERS
Alignment aligners allow teeth to be aligned without attachment systems (brackets) by using almost invisible transparent shells.
However, this technique is not ideal for all types of dental alignment.
COMBINED ORTHODONTICS SURGERY
Orthodontics combined with surgery is normally reserved for adults. Its goal is to correct jaw irregularities to improve patients' ability to chew, speak, breathe, and for an improved facial appearance.
Orthodontic appliances (brackets) are always placed simultaneously in case of surgical correction to allow the correct positioning of the teeth after surgery.
ORTHODONTICS IN MULTIDISCIPLINARY TREATMENT
In cases of complete dental rehabilitation, coordination of several areas of dentistry may be necessary (crowns, implants, periodontics).
In these cases, an orthodontic phase may prove essential to allow for good rehabilitation and dental occlusion.
TEETH WHITENING
Teeth whitening is a process that lightens the discolorations of a tooth's enamel and dentin using a bleaching solution.
This solution, when placed in prolonged contact with a tooth, erases the pigments that have formed over the years in order to give your smile a new shine.
HYGIENE & PREVENTION
A radiant smile, healthy teeth and gums, and good breath are qualities worth maintaining.
Regular hygiene care from our prophylaxis assistant helps prevent the vast majority of dental conditions.
